10 Super Tips for Writers I have two constant passions in my life since childhood: reading and writing. My mom jogged my memory of this interest by giving me some stories and poems I wrote in childhood. These comical creations made me reflect on the trajectory from my youth to the present on God’s purpose for my life.
Voracious fiction and non – fiction reading and input of interesting topics captivated me throughout my adulthood (this includes the Bible, of course). Merge these interests, throw in writing and She Who Honors sparked into existence. (Read My Blog Story post for greater detail.) My zeal for teaching and showing Jesus unfailing love, mentoring young women, health education and spiritual wellness steered me into writing two books. My non – fiction new adult genre book: Our Heart’s Desires won third place at the 2019 Florida Christian Writers Conference. Thank you, Jesus for giving me the power to achieve this! “So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.” “2 Thessalonians 1:11 NLT I'm learning a considerable amount of helpful information for writing and the journey towards traditional publishing. A vast portion of these findings are not found on the internet, or free. Research, reading, attending Christian writers’ conferences and asking questions gave me a wealth of information (maybe this can be another book?) If you really want to be a successful writer, there are certain things you need to do on your career. This might mean several changes, but you should embrace it because that's going to be for your own good. By the way, huge thanks for all the tips you had mentioned! I wasn't thinking that everything can be applied on our own lives, but I am glad that I was able to read it. Sure thing that I will be applying all the tips you had mentioned as soon as possible because that is the right thing.
