Do you have a vision/dream/goal you’re working on? Then you know how it feels when God calls you do something – whatever it is you must do it.
My vision is to create an awesome experience for teen girls with the WORTH MORE THAN DIAMONDS conference next April 2021. God’s put this on my heart for a few years. I’m slowly planning this magnificent event – with the help of some wonderful ladies.
Did you see the 2009 Disney/Pixar movie Up? A dog, named Dug, wears a special collar that allows him to speak. He's a cute dog who talks and all of a sudden he says squirrel! He gets easily distracted by squirrels. Dug cracks me up!
The past three weeks most of the US is obeying the self – quarantine mandate. The glorious freedom our country touts is sacrificially given up keeping ourselves and others safe and healthy.
This is a freedom many are willing to forgo to essentially keep us and others alive longer. Not to let this ruthless virus win.
Do you know my husband is the best husband in the world? Well now you do. I trust his authority and decision making so much he bought the house we live in now – without me seeing it!
“I’m gonna put a praise on it! So, I gotta put a praise on it!”
I love that song by Tasha Cobbs Leonard! I’m dancing in my chair as I write.
Want to know a secret? My shower time is filled with praise, worship and prayer. I’m jamming in the shower! I envision me among the heavenly hosts singing to the Heavenly Father. Doing line dances. Jumping and leaping in the presence of the Almighty!
I love the Mission Impossible movies. I watched every last one of them. I can watch them again and again. Except the third one, that wasn’t my favorite.
The best one was Rogue Nation. The motorcycle chase scene between Tom Cruise’s character, Ethan, and Rebecca Ferguson’s character, Ilsa is a nail - biting action sequence. I admit, I imagine myself as Ilsa.
I love a good romance book or movie. Sincere romances without all the sex and shallow characters. A favorite romance movie is Pride or Predjudice with Kiera Knightly. Do you have a favorite romance movie?
Do you know we are in one of the greatest romance stories of all time?
What is consecration?
To make or declare sacred, to dedicate formally to the service or worship of God; Oxford American Dictionary.
I am taking 30 days away for a time of consecration. The Lord is doing powerful work within me. I must dedicate some time away from the internet and social media to focus on what Jesus is doing in my life. Freeing me so I can help others be truly free in Christ.
Social media sometimes brings out a covetness nature in me. It draws away valuable and priceless time from my purpose and destiny God has for me. Jesus is first in my life. I need to put these earthly things aside to focus on the Name above all names, the Creator of all things and Ruler of everything - Jesus Christ.
During this break you can read previous blog posts, purchase a copy of WORTH MORE THAN DIAMONDS, or do your own consecration. If you decide to do your own consecration make sure you journal your thoughts, His thoughts, the scripture passages pointed out to you and other key breakthroughs you receive during this sacred time. Then go back through read and meditate on those things periodically so you can stay on the right path.
I pray you are able to have a time of consecration for God, sooner than later. He is worth it. Thanks for reading! Love ya.
